ADMINISTRATIVE:

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking a detailed oriented individual as our Payroll Administrator.  This person must be self-motivated and able to work independently.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization are required.  Knowledge of excel is necessary.  Previous payroll experience with Insperity/Timestar and ABRA are preferred. This is a full-time salaried position. Key responsibilities are:

  • Manages the payroll programs/processes, including the integration of time from the Insperity time system. This includes reconciling and balancing all payroll data prior to transmission to the bank
  • Verify and submit bi-weekly, quarterly, and year end taxes
  • Close out payroll for the year-end process and verify all information is up-to-date.
  • Provide assistance to supervisors and employees with questions or concerns.
  • Works with the Manager of Human Resources with all files, employee records, and other administrative functions with individual agencies as required.

HEALTH SERVICES

RN REGISTERED NURSE

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse; currently registered in the State of Illinois as an RN.   Hours are evenings and negotiable but will include occasional weekends (varied hours) and some holiday hours.  New nursing graduates are welcome to apply.

OPERATIONS:

BAKERY/COUNTRY STORE OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are seeking a dynamic, customer–oriented Operations Manager to provide leadership and management across our production facility and retail outlet, and support the company’s mission by training and developing an exceptional production team that includes adults with developmental disabilities to go along with our delicious products. This is a one of kind opportunity for someone who is interested in managing a growing business for a reputable company that focuses on providing meaningful work experiences for the people it serves.

The position entails management of all day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards; preserving excellent levels of internal and external customer service; purchasing goods; continuous process improvement; identifying customer needs and responding proactively to all of their concerns; growing the team through recruitment, training and performance management; establishing targets, schedules, policies and procedures; providing two-way communication and nurturing an ownership environment with an emphasis on teamwork; complying with all health and safety regulations; and reporting to management regarding sales results and productivity.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least five years of experience in a specialty food related field. Including food production/management experience, a working knowledge of sanitation requirements, merchandising and product development and computer literacy with various software applications, e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel, POS, etc. Knowledge of production procedures relating to baked goods, confectionery items, and jams/sauces is a plus. Ideal candidates must possess excellent management and production planning skills, and be comfortable working in a professional environment where teamwork, attitude, work ethic and accountability matter

BAKERY/SUGAR MAPLE COUNTRY PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

We are seeking seeking an individual to assist in production of consistently high quality specialty foods including chocolate products as well as sauces, spreads, and baked good items. You would provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities and must be able to work independently. A High School diploma or equivalent with experience in food production is required. You must have or obtain a sanitation certificate within 6 months of hire and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record for the previous 12 months.

P/T FARMYARD STAFF  

We are seeking individuals to assist in the operation and maintenance of a clean, organized animal exhibition and amusement area. Assist with safe and efficient ride operation of available attractions (Train, Carousel, Tractor Ride, Bounce House) and provide training and supervision of adults with developmental disabilities. Experience with both animal care and public interaction desirable, but not required. Individual must have ability to perform tasks independently. Part-time flexible hours are available seven days a week. You must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

FARMYARD STAFF

TRANSPORTATION DRIVER/ROUTE COORDINATOR

Provide safe and on-time transportation for participants/commuters to and from homes, job sites, recreational activities, train stations, and bus stops. Duties include donation pick-ups and deliveries of Lambs products and materials. The Driver works with the manager on weekly driving routes for department. High school or equivalent. Experience in transportation such as school bus driver or driver for special education. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. with ability to lift when picking up donations such as furniture and appliances. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and provide proof of insurance. Computer skills. This is a part-time position.

FACILITY MANAGEMENT:

THIRD SHIFT SECURITY OFFICER

Ensure the quality of life for participants, staff and guests by providing a safe and secure place to live, work and visit. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Background or exposure to any police or security work is beneficial. The ability to act and think independently while sometimes under pressure and or in emergencies with the ability to follow written and verbal direction. You must have a valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the prior year. Basic knowledge/skills in general building repairs in the case of physical plant emergencies. During non-business hours, you must be able to respond properly to physical plant and other emergencies. Starting pay $10.75 per hour. Hours: Saturday – Wednesday 12 am to 8 am.

RESTAURANT:

DISHWASHER

A dishwasher at Magnolia Cafe must be able to lift 50 pounds, do janitorial tasks, dish washing, and trash duties. All tasks as assigned.

 RESIDENTIAL:

LIVE-IN APARTMENT DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON

Rent apartment located in an on-grounds residential home, rent is $200 monthly. Applicant must be in the apartment from 10pm to 7am to facilitate any emergency situations and work from 7am to 9am as a Direct Support Person – starting pay is at $11.00 for DSP. In addition to these 10 hours per week this person must work  between 20-30 hours in Residential or for another department. DSP Certification will be provided by Lambs Farm. Must have valid drivers license with a good driving record.  Must be employed with Lambs Farm for a minimum of 120 days.

DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON

$250 SIGN ON BONUS (after completion of the 120 day training period). We are seeking a caring individual to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.   One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available (classes held Monday-Friday during normal business hours).  You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire.  You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening.  Part time and full time 2nd and 3rd shift positions that include working weekends available.  Starting pay is $11/hour.  Salary is higher with experience and DSP Certification.

VOCATIONAL:

VOCATIONAL MANAGER/HBS FACILITATOR

The Vocational Manager/HBS Facilitator is responsible to design and implement individual programs for persons with Intellectually Delayed Disabilities in community employment settings and to assist individuals and families in utilizing Home Based Services funding. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services field plus one-year experience working directly with people with intellectually delayed disabilities is required. Case Management experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. The person selected must be QIDP approved or able to complete the QIDP training within 6 months of employment. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

VOCATIONAL MANAGER

The Vocational Manager is the key person responsible for the design and implementation of employment and day programs for persons with Intellectually Delayed Disabilities. Duties include assessment of skills, coordination of both necessary and preferred activities for individuals, and providing training to individuals on the caseload.  A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services is required along with at least one year of experience with the Intellectually Delayed population.  Working knowledge or Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary.  The individual hired for this position must be QIDP approved or able to complete the required training within 6 months of hire date. All needed training is provided by Lambs Farm. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and pass a criminal background check and drug screening. 

ACTIVITY ASSISTANT

Are you someone who is creative, energetic and a self-starter?  If so, Lambs Farm needs people to provide services to seniors and retirees with Intellectual Disabilities. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. One year related working experience is required and DSP certification is a plus.  You should have effective verbal, written and computer skills plus a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. This is a full time position.

JOB COACH-LAMBS INDUSTRIES

The Job Coach provides on the job training and contract production services to meet individual needs of persons working at Lambs Industries. The ideal candidate is energetic, a self-starter and physically able to train persons on job tasks. High School diploma or equivalent required. One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
