 HEALTH SERVICES:

HEALTH SERVICES ASSISTANT – PART TIME

Assist with miscellaneous clerical duties of a medical office.  This position may include transporting and accompanying Participants to their medical, dental, and ancillary appointments or procedures.  Must be able to communicate to health practitioners the needs of the participants and report health appointment outcomes in detail. Ideal candidate must be able to physically assist participants when required, have initiative, excellent attendance; detail oriented and able to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  Basic computer skills – Microsoft Word and e-mail, Excel and/or Access a definite plus. Must be able speak, read, and write English. Satisfactory completion of paid DSP training within 120 days of employment required. Valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months required.  Guaranteed 29 hours per week; daytime hours between 9 and 5 pm Monday through Friday (days and hours negotiable).

 HOUSEKEEPING:

HOUSEKEEPING (FULL-TIME)

We are seeking an individual that is experienced and has knowledge in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning tasks. You must have experience in operating commercial rotary floor scrubbing equipment and carpet extraction machines. You must be a self-starter with ability to follow directions. In addition, must be able to verbally communicate to and direct the activities of adults with developmental disabilities. You must have a valid driver’s license with no moving violations for past 12 months and must pass a criminal back ground check and drug screening.  Full-time hours: 8am-5pm

 OPERATIONS:

BAKERY/COUNTRY STORE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

We are seeking an individual to provide production of consistently high quality specialty foods including primarily confectionery/chocolate products as well as sauces, spreads, and baked good items. You would provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities and must be able to work independently. A High School diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of food production, chocolate tempering and bakery experience is required. You must have or obtain a sanitation certificate and be able to lift at least 25 lbs. You must have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months.

FARMYARD ASSISTANT MANAGER

We are seeking an individual to provide administrative and operations support for the Farmyard and Attractions area and provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities. Some duties include being the lead cashier, handling customer service relations, managing field deposits and paperwork, ordering supplies, setting vet appointments, maintaining the sales room floor, helping determine merchandise offerings, and ensuring staff adhere to all work policies. The assistant manager will also assist with daily tasks as necessary, such as providing food and water to all animals, cleaning their pens, tidying up the Farmyard grounds and operating rides. The assistant manager is responsible for running the Farmyard & Attractions when the manager is unavailable. High school diploma or equivalent plus two years’ experience in animal care and business management.  Full time hours.

FARMYARD PART TIME

We are seeking a part time employee for the Farmyard & Attractions at Lambs Farm.  Experience in public interaction required. Candidate must demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to perform tasks independently. As a part time employee, you will be responsible for a variety of daily job tasks.  Those tasks include daily animal care (providing food, water and a clean living area), daily operations upkeep (ensuring a clean and tidy workplace.  Additionally, providing a clean and uncluttered public space for visitors, checking and tending to public amenities), monthly feed/supply deliveries (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. for extended periods of time while performing repetitive movements), provide customer service (answer questions, cashiering, operating rides), assist with tracking feed and supplies, and supervise adults with developmental disabilities. Other duties assigned as well. The above describes the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job. It is not a comprehensive list of all job responsibilities. Part time staff responsibilities will have a greater emphasis customer service while ensuring a cleanly amusement area and smooth daily operation of attractions. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Problem-solving skills and ability to work without supervision is necessary. Positive, upbeat attitude and previous experience in retail or customer service environment desired.

 RESIDENTIAL:

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

We are seeking a caring individual to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.   One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available (classes held Monday-Friday during normal business hours).  You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire.  You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening.  Part time and full time 2nd and 3rd shift positions that include working weekends available.  Starting pay is $10.33/hour.  Salary is higher with experience and DSP Certification.

 TRANSPORTATION:

DRIVER

Lambs Farm is seeking a Driver to help with the safe and on time transport of Participants/Commuters to and from homes, job sites, recreational activities, train stations and bus stops. This position is also responsible for pick up and drop offs of donations and Lambs products and materials.  Qualifications: Must be able to lift 60 pounds, have a valid Driver’s License free of moving violations for 1 year and obtain a CDL with passenger endorsement within 120 days of employment.  Experience in transportation such as a school bus driver or driver for Special Education a plus.  Applicants must be able to pass drug test, background check and fingerprinting.  Current hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 to 5:00.
