DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
We are seeking a candidate to serve as the Director of Development, responsible for all development efforts of the organization. The Director works to further develop a program to increase awareness and support of the mission through a variety of fundraising efforts including various annual events in order to meet targeted goals. Must be able to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major gifts. The ideal candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and an ability to relate to all levels of staff, members of the Board of Directors, donors, and representatives of various agencies, businesses and organizations. Successful experience in personal, face-to-face major gift solicitations required with capital campaign experience a plus. The candidate should have knowledge of general development practices, experience in supervising staff, an understanding of gift accounting and processes, and a proficiency in managing a database and generating reports. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge software is preferred. A Bachelor Degree in Communication, Fundraising or a related field and a minimum of five years experience in development required. Position reports directly to the President and CEO.
BAKERY OPERATIONS ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER
We are seeking an individual to assist with the overall business and production operation of a food production facility. A High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 – 3 years experience of retail business experience. You must be familiar with food production, sanitation requirements, and product development. You must have knowledge of production procedures relating to baked goods, confectionary items, and jams/sauces beneficial. Excellent management and production planning skills required. Provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities.
BAKERY/SUGAR MAPLE COUNTRY STORE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
We are seeking an individual to provide production of consistently high quality specialty foods including primarily confectionery/chocolate products as well as sauces, spreads, and baked good items. You would provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities and must be able to work independently. A High School diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of food production, chocolate tempering and bakery experience is required. You must have or obtain a sanitation certificate and be able to lift at least 25 lbs. You must have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months.
We are seeking a part time server for The Magnolia Cafe & Bakery which is a full service restaurant. We are open for breakfast, lunch, Friday and Saturday dinner and banquets. You must be 18 years of age. Hours are flexible and does include working weekends.
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
We are seeking caring individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire. One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available. You must have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months. Starting rate is $10.33 per hour. Part time shift positions that include working weekends available.
Responsibilities include preparing and teaching classes, leading recreational activities, monitoring Participants and managing assigned tasks. Must be able to drive 15 passenger van to and from program activities. Must have the ability to physically train and assist persons in sports and fitness activities. Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Leisure Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Exercise Science or experience in the field of developmental disabilities required. Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license and be violation free for at least one year.
P/T WEEKEND RECREATION SPECIALIST-WEEKEND PROGRAM
We are seeking a caring individual to supervise and ensure the safety of Participants utilizing the Recreation weekend programs. Empower the participants to achieving outcomes that match their interests and abilities. High school diploma and experience in the field of developmental disabilities required. Must be able to physically train and assist persons in sports and fitness activities. Must be 18 and have a valid Illinois driver’s license, violation free for at least one year. Hours: Fridays- 5:30-9:30pm, Saturdays- 9am-5pm, Sundays- 1pm-5pm. Starting pay: $10.33 per hour.
The Job Coach provides supported employment training for persons working in the community and on grounds. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. High School diploma and one year experience working with people with developmental disabilities required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. You must be physically able to train persons on job tasks, have effective verbal and written skills plus valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months. Basic computer skills preferred.
