FACILITY MANAGEMENT :

MAINTENANCE/GROUNDS 1

This position will assist with repair, service and maintenance of all Lambs Farm buildings, with an emphasis on plumbing and experience with painting and taping skills.  Experience in all types of maintenance such as, but not limited to: overhauls, installation and troubleshooting, including basic electrical and carpentry (layout, rough framing and trim).  Background knowledge of HVAC work and controls appreciated.  Grounds work includes, but is not limited to:  lawn care, trees, shrubs, litter and garbage removal.  Snow and ice removal in inclement weather.  You must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 12 months.  You must be able to pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical and drug screening.  This is a full time position.

OPERATIONS:

FARMYARD FULL TIME

We are seeking an individual to assist in the operation and maintenance of a clean, organized animal exhibition and amusement area. Assist with safe and efficient ride operation of available attractions (Train, Carousel, Tractor Ride, Bounce House) and provide training and supervision of adults with developmental disabilities. Provide hands on experience with both animal care and public interaction desirable, but not required. Individual must have ability to perform tasks independently. You must have valid drivers license with a clean driving record for past 12 months and pass a criminal back ground check and drug screening. This Position is for FULL TIME hours. Shifts are flexible, but Sunday availability is a MUST. Position is paid at minimum wage.

FARMYARD PART-TIME

We are seeking a part time employee for the Farmyard & Attractions at Lambs Farm.  Experience in public interaction required. Candidate must demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to perform tasks independently. As a part time employee, you will be responsible for a variety of daily job tasks, which include: daily animal care (providing food, water and a clean living area), daily operations upkeep (ensuring a clean and tidy workplace, clean and uncluttered public space for visitors, checking and tending to public amenities), monthly feed/supply deliveries (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. for extended periods of time while performing repetitive movements), provide customer service (answer questions, cashiering, operating rides), assist with tracking feed and supplies, and supervise adults with developmental disabilities. Other duties assigned as well. The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job. It is not a comprehensive list of all job responsibilities. Part time staff responsibilities will have a greater emphasis customer service while ensuring a cleanly amusement area and smooth daily operation of attractions. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Problem-solving skills and ability to work without supervision is a must. Positive, upbeat attitude and previous experience in retail or customer service environment desired.

SALES MANAGER

We are seeking a dynamic, customer–oriented Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets in the specialty food, corporate gift and corporate events markets. The position is responsible for obtaining new customer accounts as well as maintaining and growing existing business while ensuring customer satisfaction and quality of product and service delivery.  This is a one of kind opportunity for someone who is interested in growing a business for a reputable company that focuses on providing meaningful work experiences for people with developmental disabilities. The position requires a college degree or equivalent with at least three years of experience in direct sales, preferably in the food industry. Ideal candidates must possess excellent management and planning skills, and be comfortable working in a professional environment where teamwork, attitude, work ethic and accountability matter.  This position is based in Libertyville, IL and will only require local travel.  Please include salary expectations along with your resume/application.

PROGRAMS:

CASE MANAGER

The person selected for this position is responsible for the behavior and residential programming for a select caseload of Participants. Duties include behavior plan creation and monitoring, Individual Service Plan creation and monitoring, Participant assessment, coordination of both necessary and preferred activities for the individuals on the caseload, and direct care as needed.  Minimum requirements for the position include one year of experience working directly with people who have a diagnosis of an Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability, a bachelor’s degree in a human services field, a valid driver’s license with a good driving record for previous 12 months, pass a criminal back ground check, physical and drug screening. The person selected must be QIDP approved at hire and then successfully complete the 40 hour QIDP Orientation course within six months of hire. Training as needed will be provided by Lambs Farm.

RESIDENTIAL:

AM SUPERVISOR

We are seeking an individual to assume the responsibilities of the AM Supervisor for our Residential homes.  The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  Monitoring AM Staff and deliver services for participants in assigned residences, implement individualized outcome based training, behavioral and service plans.  Complete all related documentation prior to conclusion of shift, comply with self-medication procedures, monitor participant’s dietary programs, insure that medication re-orders are being faxed from all campus areas and complete weekly schedules for direct reports.  Additionally, be responsible for covering shifts that are left open due to call-ins.  The hours are 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday-Friday.  The qualifications for this position are as follows:  Prior experience is helpful, but not required.  Must hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and provide proof of insurance. Must be physically able to assist participants complete their daily living skills.  Upon hire, individual must be complete DSP training/certification program within 120 days of employment and receive agency authorization to supervise participants self-medicate within 60 days of employment.

CILA RESIDENTIAL MANAGER

Lambs Farm is seeking an experienced individual to oversee its CILA program for people with developmental disabilities.  Position responsibilities include supervision of direct support staff,  knowledge of physical plant maintenance, staffing coverage, active treatment program planning, compliance with state, federal, local and agency standards and procedures.  This position requires a bachelor’s degree in related human service field with 2 -3 years of experience; or a high school diploma/GED with 3-or more years of related experience.  You must have DSP certification and supervisory experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills plus verbal written and computer skills.  You must have valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

We are seeking a caring individual to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.   One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available (classes held Monday-Friday during normal business hours).  You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire.  You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening.  Part time and full time 2nd and 3rd shift positions that include working weekends available.  Starting pay is $10.33/hour.  Salary is higher with experience and DSP Certification.

 VOCATIONAL:

JOB COACH

The Job Coach provides supported employment training for persons working in the community and on grounds. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You must possess skills to work independently with outside vendors.  A High School diploma is required.  Associate or Bachelor’s degree and one year experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal back ground check, physical and drug screening. You must be physically able to train persons on job tasks. Basic computer skills preferred.  Salary starts at $10.33 per hour.

RECREATION SPECIALIST P/T

We are seeking a caring individual to supervise and ensure the safety of Participants utilizing the Recreation Programs.  Empower the Participants to achieving outcomes that match their interests and abilities.  High school diploma and experience in the developmentally disabled field required.  Must be 18 years old with with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  Must be able to pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening.  Must complete DSP Certification within 120 of employment.  Classes are held Monday through Friday, during regular business hours.  Hours of employment are :  Monday through Thursday 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm and Fridays 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

RECREATION SPECIALIST P/T – WEEKEND PROGRAM

We are seeking a caring individual to both supervise and ensure the safety of the Participants who utilize the Weekend Recreation programs. The individual will also be responsible for encouraging and empowering the Participants to achieve their recreational interests. High school diploma required.  Experience in the field of developmental disabilities desired.  Must be able to physically assist the Participants in all activities. You must be 18 and have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for the previous 12 months, pass a criminal back ground check and a drug screening. Paid DSP certification training program is available but you must be flexible with DSP classes for the first 120 days or employment (classes are held Monday-Friday during normal business hours). Hours: Fridays- 5:30pm to 9:30pm, Saturdays- 9am to 5pm, Sundays- 1pm to 5pm.  Starting pay: $10.33 per hour.
