ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF FACILITY MANAGEMENT
We are seeking an individual to manage the agency’s Transportation and Safety /Risk Management departments. Must have ASSE (or equivalent) Certification in Safety Management plus three years prior safety management experience. Prior experience desired in maintaining transportation vehicles, garage and equipment in a safe manner. You must demonstrate leadership capabilities and a solid commitment to existing Facility Management protocols and procedures. You must be able to exercise discretion, independent judgment and the ability to promote teamwork. Coordinate the agency EH&S/risk management program to assure enhanced work place safety and compliance. Maintain agency’s safety compliance records. Requires strong competency in written, verbal communication skills and must be computer literate. High school diploma and valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months required. This position may require some evening and weekend hours.
We are seeking a full-time Security Officer to ensure the quality of life for participants, staff and guests by providing a safe and secure place to live, work and visit. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Background or exposure to any police or security work is beneficial. The ability to act and think independently while sometimes under pressure and or in emergency situations with the ability to follow written and verbal direction. You must have a valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the prior year. Basic knowledge/skills in general building repairs in the case of physical plant emergencies. During non business hours, you must be able to respond properly to physical plant and other emergencies.
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse who will be required to become certified as a Nurse Trainer within six months of the date of hire (paid one day training). A candidate must have at least 2 years nursing experience and be currently registered in the State of Illinois as an RN. Knowledge of ICF/DD regulations is preferred but not required. This position will assist in maintaining the health and well-being for participants in ICF/DD, CLF, CILA and commuters (as required) in accordance with government regulations. This position is also responsible for assisting in the training and evaluation of Direct Support Staff who are authorized to pass medications. A valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months is required. Hours are daytime and negotiable but will include occasional weekend and holiday hours.
We are seeking an individual that is experienced in janitorial/housekeeping cleaning tasks. Basic knowledge of housekeeping and must have experience in operating commercial rotary floor scrubbing equipment and carpet extraction machines. You must be a self-starter with ability to work with little supervision. In addition, must be able to verbally communicate to and direct the activities of adults with developmental disabilities. Full time hours: Monday- Friday 9am – 5:30pm & Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON
We are seeking caring individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire. One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available. You must have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months. Starting rate is $10.33 per hour. Full time and part time positions that include working weekends.
LIVE-IN/DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON
We are seeking a caring individual to live in a rent free apartment located in an on-grounds residential home. You must be in your apartment Sunday-Thursday nights from 10pm to 7am to facilitate any emergency situations. Those hours are non-paid unless you are needed for an emergency situation. You work as a Direct Support Person Monday – Friday from 7am to 9am. DSP certification is provided by Lambs Farm (certification training classes take approximately 120 days for completion and you must be flexible to attend all training Monday-Friday during normal business hours of 8am-5pm). You must have valid driver’s license with no moving violations for past 12 months. You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire. One to two years related experience preferred. This is a part time position and the hourly rate is $10.33 per hour.
MANAGER OF COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT
We are seeking an individual to oversee Lambs Farm’s Community Employment Program for people with developmental disabilities. This person will supervise Community Employment Program staff and work to increase the number and variety of community employment locations in both individual and group sites. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation, psychology, education or other related human service field and at least 2 years experience working with people with developmental disabilities in a vocational setting. Supervisory experience preferred. Certified as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional or complete QIDP training within 6 months from date of hire. You must have good people skills with the ability to establish excellent public relations with the business community. You must have a valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the previous 12 months.
We are seeking someone to provide senior/retirement services. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. One year related working experience required and DSP certification is a plus. Experience with ADLs is desirable. You must be physically able to train persons on job tasks, have effective verbal, written and computer skills plus valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months.
