OPERATIONS:

COOK
The Magnolia Cafe & Bakery  is seeking a part time cook to be responsible for maintaining kitchen sanitation and line cooking. You must complete food sanitation course, which will be provided. You will be training and assisting adults with developmental disabilities in various job tasks. Experience preferred but not required. Part time hours and days may vary.

WAITSTAFF
We are seeking a part time server for The Magnolia Cafe & Bakery which is a full service restaurant. We are open for breakfast, lunch, Friday and Saturday dinner and banquets. You must be 18 years of age. Hours are flexible and does include working weekends.

FARMYARD STAFF
We are seeking an individual to assist in the operation and maintenance of a clean, organized animal exhibition and amusement area. Assist with safe and efficient ride operation of available attractions (Train, Carousel, Tractor Ride, Bounce House) and provide training and supervision of adults with developmental disabilities. Provide hands on experience with both animal care and public interaction desirable, but not required. Individual must have ability to perform tasks independently.  You must have valid drivers license with no moving violations for past 12 months.  Part time, full time and seasonal flexible hours are available seven days a week.

RESIDENTIAL:

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL  
We are seeking caring individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire.  One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available. You must have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months. Starting rate is $10.33 per hour. Part time and full time shift positions that include working weekends available.   

AM/DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL FLOATER  
We are seeking caring individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, flexible and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. This person will support the other DSP staff in various residential areas as needed. In cases of emergency, this person will drive or accompany a Participant to an Acute Care Center or ER. While there, they will be responsible for advocating for the Participant and assisting both the Participant and the medical provider in those situations. Afterwards, they will be responsible for relaying all medical information back to all concerned Lambs Farm staff. A high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 2 years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available. You must have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months. Starting rate is $10.33 per hour. Monday-Friday 6am-2pm.

RESIDENTIAL MANAGER  
We are seeking an experienced individual to oversee group homes in the CLF program for people with developmental disabilities.  Position responsibilities include supervision of direct support staff, staffing coverage, active treatment program planning, compliance with state, federal, local and agency standards and procedures.  This position requires a bachelor’s degree in related human service field with 2 -3 years of experience; or a high school diploma/GED with 3-or more years of related experience.  You must have (or be able to obtain within six months) DSP certification and supervisory experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills plus verbal written and computer skills.  You must have valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months.

FACILITY MANAGEMENT:

MAINTENANCE I  
We are seeking an individual that will assist with the repair, service and maintenance of all Lambs Farm buildings. Must have experience in all types of maintenance, overhauls, painting, installation and troubleshooting including basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry (layout, rough framing and trim). Background knowledge of HVAC work and controls are seeking an individual that would be responsible for the care of all grounds, contracted areas, and light road and sidewalk repairs which includes; lawns, trees, shrubs, and litter and garbage removal; in winter includes snow and ice removal. That would be responsible for the care of all grounds, contracted areas, and light road/sidewalk repairs which includes lawns, trees, shrubs, and litter and garbage removal; in winter includes snow and ice removal. Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

GROUNDSKEEPER  
We are seeking an individual that would be responsible for the care of all grounds, contracted areas, and light road/sidewalk repairs which includes; lawns, trees, shrubs, and litter and garbage removal; in winter includes snow and ice removal. You will assist in the training of Lambs Participant grounds crew in the areas of plant care, the safe use of riding and push lawn mowers, weed eaters and snow blowers. This position may also require the repair and upkeep of department’s mechanical and power equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent plus experience in grounds care, landscaping and snow removal. You must have a valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months and be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.

HEALTH SERVICES:

REGISTERED NURSE – P/T
We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse.  This would be a perfect position for a stay-at-home mom/dad, retired or someone looking to add a small second job to provide you with a little extra cash and also be very rewarding at the same time.  Preferred candidate would have at least 2 years nursing experience and must be currently registered in the State of Illinois as an RN. Knowledge of ICF/DD regulations is preferred but not required.  This position will assist in maintaining the health and well-being for participants in ICF/DD, CLF and CILA in accordance with government regulations. A valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months is required.   Eight hours per pay-period can be guaranteed and it will require one shift of a Sunday evening every other weekend.

REGISTERED NURSE – F/T
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse who will be required to become certified as a Nurse Trainer within six months of the date of hire (paid one day training).  A candidate must be currently registered in the State of Illinois as an RN and have a valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months is required.   Week day hours are daytime and negotiable but will include 2 weekend days a month and some holiday hours.
