OPERATIONS:

FARMYARD
We are seeking an individual to assist in the operation and maintenance of a clean, organized animal exhibition and amusement area. Assist with safe and efficient ride operation of available attractions (Train, Carousel, Tractor Ride, Bounce House) and provide training and supervision of adults with developmental disabilities. Provide hands on experience with both animal care and public interaction desirable, but not required. Individual must have ability to perform tasks independently.  You must have valid drivers license with no moving violations for past 12 months. Part time flexible hours are available seven days a week.

COOK
The Magnolia Cafe & Bakery  is seeking a part time cook to be responsible for maintaining kitchen sanitation and line cooking. You must complete food sanitation course, which will be provided. You will be training and assisting adults with developmental disabilities in various job tasks. Experience preferred but not required. Part time hours and days may vary.

BUS PERSON
We are seeking a part time Bus Person for the Magnolia Cafe & Bakery which is a full service restaurant.  We are open for breakfast, lunch, Friday and Saturday dinner and banquets. You must be 18 years of age.  Hours are Saturday & Sunday; 7am – 4pm.

BAKERY/SUGAR MAPLE COUNTRY STORE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
We are seeking an individual to provide production of consistently high quality specialty foods including primarily confectionery/chocolate products as well as sauces, spreads, and baked good items. You would provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities and must be able to work independently. A High School diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of food production, chocolate tempering and bakery experience is required. You must have or obtain a sanitation certificate and be able to lift at least 25 lbs. You must have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months.

TRANSPORTATION:

DRIVER
We are seeking an individual to provide safe and on time transportation for Participants to and from homes, job sites, recreational activities, train stations, bus stops, as well as donation pickups and deliveries of Lambs Farm’s products and materials. A high school diploma or GED and experience in transportation such as school bus driver or driver for Special Education. You must be able to lift 80 lbs with ability to lift when picking up donations such as furniture and appliances. You must have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months and be able to obtain a CDL license within 90 days of hire.  Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00pm – 6:00pm (P/T)

VOCATIONAL:

HBS FACILITATOR/VOCATIONAL MANAGER

The HBS Facilitator/Vocational Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of individual programs for persons with developmental disabilities in community employment settings and assist individuals and families in utilizing Home Based Services funding. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services field plus one year experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. The person selected must be QIDP approved or able to complete the QIDP training within 6 months of employment. You must have a valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the previous 12 months.

RESIDENTIAL:

DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON
We are seeking caring individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire.  One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available. You must have a valid driver’s license free of moving violations for previous 12 months. Starting rate is $10.33 per hour. Full and part time shift positions that include working weekends available.    

RECREATION:

P/T RECREATION SPECIALIST – WEEKEND PROGRAM
We are seeking a caring individual to supervise and ensure the safety of Participants utilizing the Recreation weekend programs. Empower the participants to achieving outcomes that match their interests and abilities. High school diploma and experience in the field of developmental disabilities required. Must be able to physically train and assist persons in sports and fitness activities. Must be 18 and have a valid Illinois driver’s license, violation free for at least one year.

Hours: Fridays- 5:30-9:30pm, Saturdays- 9am-5pm, Sundays- 1pm-5pm. Starting pay: $10.33 per hour.

HEALTH SERVICES:

HEALTH SERVICES ADVOCATE
This position is responsible for transporting and accompanying Participants to their medical, dental, and ancillary appointments or procedures. Must be able to communicate to health practitioners the needs of the participants and report health appointment outcomes in detail. Ideal candidate must be able to physically assist participants when required, have initiative, excellent attendance; detail oriented and be able to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic computer skills – Microsoft Word and e-mail, Excel and/or Access a definite plus. Must be able speak, read, and write English. Satisfactory completion of paid DSP training within 120 days of employment required. Valid driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months required. Hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

ADMINISTRATION:

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT 
We are seeking a candidate to serve as the Director of Development, responsible for all development efforts of the organization. The Director works to further develop a program to increase awareness and support of the mission through a variety of fundraising efforts including various annual events in order to meet targeted goals. Must be able to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major gifts. The ideal candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and an ability to relate to all levels of staff, members of the Board of Directors, donors, and representatives of various agencies, businesses and organizations. Successful experience in personal, face-to-face major gift solicitations required with capital campaign experience a plus. The candidate should have knowledge of general development practices, experience in supervising staff, an understanding of gift accounting and processes, and a proficiency in managing a database and generating reports. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge software is preferred. A Bachelor Degree in Communication, Fundraising or a related field and a minimum of five years experience in development required. Position reports directly to the President and CEO.

RECEPTIONIST 
We are seeking an individual who is energetic and self-motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task and problem solve. Individual must be able to work independently directing calls, greeting the public, providing information about Lambs Farm, and work well with adults with developmental disabilities. Good computer skills, including some Excel knowledge, are required.

Hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm.
