We currently have openings for the following positions:
| ACCOUNTING MANAGER Supervision and training of accounting staff.
Work with the Controller in the assignment of job duties and responsibilities within the Department.
Management of monthly close process of Lambs Farm, including establishing and meeting prescribed deadlines for closing the monthly general ledgers and completion of all account analysis.
Ensure Business accounts receivable are billed and collected in a timely manner.
Assist with cash management responsibilities.
Assist with development and implementation of accounting and internal control policies and procedures.
Provide support in conjunction with annual audit, including ensuring completion of all requested work papers.
Administration of general ledger software package to ensure that it is working properly and being used in a manner that maximizes departmental efficiency.
Design and implementation of computerized (Excel) spreadsheets to maximize departmental efficiency.
Special projects and analysis for Controller, as needed.
Must have a
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of seven years of experience in general accounting. Prior experience in managing a multi-person department and coordination of audit is preferred. Strong computer skills are needed.

| BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST
Position is responsible for design and implementation of behavior programs in accordance with federal, state and agency standards as well as monitoring the status of behavior programs on case load and assisting with operations of the Behavior Program Committee; will attend and make case presentations at the Human Right Committee meetings. Also responsible for training all staff to implement behavior programs. May require taking Participants to psychiatric and counseling appointments. Serves as a Participant advocate with consulting psychiatrists and psychologists and other counselors. Bachelor degree in psychology, social work, education or related field and a minimum of 1 year of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities. Successful completion of approved QMRP Orientation course or successful completion of course within 6 months of employment. |
| QUALIFIED MENTAL RETARDATION PROFESSIONAL (QMRP) - Coordinate outcome related services by developing, implementing and overseeing programming. Train and monitor staff to ensure services are in place and meet agency requirements. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Service field with minimum of one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Must be QMRP certified or receive certification within 6 months of employment. Valid Driver’s license with no moving violations for the past 12 months required.

| WEEKEND RECREATION MANAGER (part time)
Supervise all weekend departmental outings and activities. Assist the participants in achieving outcomes that match their interests and abilities, this includes planning and coordinating weekend outings in the community and activities held here on campus Effectively market and publicize outings and activities to residents. Must be able to physically train and assist persons in sports and fitness activities. Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in recreation, physical education, leisure services, therapeutic recreation or exercise science or High school diploma or equivalent plus minimum of one year related experience in the field of developmental disabilities and/or recreation activities. Valid Illinois Drivers license, violation free for at least one year. Direct Service Person (DSP) and PACE certified within 120 days of employment.

| RECREATION AND LEISURE SERVICES SPECIALIST – Week-ender Program – P/T
Supervise and ensure the safety of Participants utilizing the Recreation weekend programs. Empower the participants to achieving outcomes that match their interests and abilities. High school diploma and experience in the field of developmental disabilities required. Must be able to physically train and assist persons in sports and fitness activities. Must be 18 and have a valid Illinois driver’s license, violation free for at least one year.
Hours: Fridays- 5:30-9:30pm, Saturdays- 9am-5pm, Sundays- 1pm-5pm. Starting pay: $10.33 per hour.

| DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON
We are seeking caring individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their Personal Goals and Daily Living Skills. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Bachelor or Associate degree in Social Service field or HS equivalent with 1 to 2 years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP Certification Training Program available. Must have valid drivers license with no moving violations for past 12 months.
Starting rate is $10.33/hr.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shift hours available, days vary. |
| PAID SLEEP POSITIONS
Staff is needed to provide mature and prompt response in the event of a Participant or physical ground emergency between the hours of 10pm and 7am. Awake hours are 7am – 9am Designated wage paid for awake hours, minimum wage paid for sleep time.

| SECURITY OFFICER Adhere the quality of life for Participants, staff, and guests by priority. Insure all retail, businesses, vocational, and residences are patrolled regularly. Initiate fire drills and timed documentation of evacuations per annual safety officers calendar. High School diploma or equivalent. Background or exposure to any police or security work beneficial. Must have valid drivers license with no moving violations for past 12 months. Split shift hours and includes weekends.
