Mooonlight Mooovies
Lambs Farm - Farmyard Lawn
Friday Nights, July 3 through August 28 (Weather
permitting)
6 – 10:30 p.m.
$4 per person includes popcorn and drink. Movie is FREE!!
Pack the blankets and lawn chairs, and round up the
family for a wonderful evening of cinematic entertainment
without the cinema price! Each Friday Lambs Farm will
select a family friendly theme and show a corresponding
movie on the outdoor big screen. Join us as we partake
in Lambs Farm’s version of a drive-in theater!

Wear your favorite baseball jersey. Activities include
pie eating contest, whiffle ball home run derby, and

July 10 -Space Jam
Wear your favorite basketball jersey or space outfit.
Activities include make your own alien mask, karaoke
and more.
July 17 - Hook
Activities include WaterWars, peg leg race (three-legged
race), pin the eye patch on the pirate and more.
July 24 - Elf
Activities include pin the nose of Rudolf, Christmas
Bingo and more.
July 31 - The Land Before Time
Activities include bone dig, dinosaur
tail tag, triceratops toss and more.

Down Syndrome Development Council (DDC) Buddy
Walk
Sunday, September 20, 12:00-5:00pm; walk
at 1:30 p.m.
Please join the DDC at their annual Down Syndrome
Awareness Buddy Walk. This event is open to the
public so come and have a family fun day with music,
games, food, raffles, inflatables and all the other
fun stuff that Lambs Farm has to offer. For more information,

Lambs Farm Popcorn Days
Friday, October 2 & Saturday, October 3
In celebration of National Disabilities Employment
Awareness Month and National Popcorn Month, Lambs Farm
and The Popcorn Factory have come together to raise
needed funds to support Lambs Farm’s various programs
and to promote the contributions and skills of workers
with disabilities. The second annual Lambs Farm Popcorn
Days will take place on Friday, October 2 and Saturday,
October 3. Volunteers are needed to help collect funds
on various streets and storefronts throughout our local

Barn Burner BBQ

Friday, October 16, 5 – 10 p.m.
Saturday, October 17, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Free to spectators, $3 to judge chili contest
Things get hot and spicy as Lambs Farm hosts the 4th
Annual Barn Burner BBQ Competition sanctioned by the
Kansas City Barbeque Society. The smoky food festival
features the Chili Challenge Cook-Off, contests, demonstrations,
raffles, vendors, Miller Beer Tent, live music and more!
The public is invited to compete in or judge the chili
competition, and learn expert tips from the barbeque
competitors. Learn the trick to cooking low and slow.
One lucky chili entry will be proclaimed the People’s
Choice. There will be several winners in the barbeque
competition, and the Grand Champion will be invited
to the Great American Barbeque and the American Royal
Invitational, and entered into a drawing for a chance
to compete at the Jack Daniels World Championship. For

a.m., Last Bike In 2:30 p.m.
$15 in advance per person, $20.00 per person day of

Join the Blue Knights IL XII for a 75 mile poker run
through northern Lake County to benefit Lambs Farm.
Coffee and donuts will be provided at registration.
The event will conclude with food, door prizes, raffle

event dedicated to “man’s best friend.”
Exciting activities take place throughout the day culminating
in the Canine Couture Fashion Show. Witness a world
record attempt as we unveil the world's largest dog
biscuit - expected to weigh nearly 400 pounds. Samples
from the mammoth treat will be available for all four
legged attendees. Shop unique pet product and service

food and access to all of Lambs Farm's shops and attractions.
Prizes for correct ride observations and a raffle are
included. Proceeds support Lambs Farm's programs for
