 FACILITY MANAGEMENT:

MAINTENANCE/GROUNDS I

This position will assist with repair, service and maintenance of all Lambs Farm buildings, with an emphasis on plumbing and experience with painting and taping skills. Experience in all types of maintenance such as, but not limited to: overhauls, installation and troubleshooting, including basic electrical and carpentry (layout, rough framing and trim). Background knowledge of HVAC work and controls appreciated. Grounds work includes, but is not limited to: lawn care, trees, shrubs, litter and garbage removal. Snow and ice removal in inclement weather. You must have a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record. You must be able to pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical and drug screening. This is a full time position.

HOUSEKEEPING

We are seeking an individual that is experienced and has knowledge in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning tasks. You must be a self-starter with ability to follow directions. In addition, must be able to verbally communicate to and direct the activities of adults with developmental disabilities. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Full time hours: 9 am – 5:30 pm.

DRIVER

Provides safe and on-time transportation for adults with developmental disabilities to and from homes, job sites, recreational activities, train stations, bus stops, as well as makes donation pickups and deliveries of Lambs Farm’s products and materials. High school or GED. Experience in transportation such as school bus driver or driver for Special Education. Must be able to lift 80 lbs. with ability to lift when picking up donations such as furniture and appliances. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and provide proof of insurance. F/T Hours are M-F 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

 OPERATIONS:

PET ADOPTION COUNSELOR/SALES ASSOCIATE

Typical duties include assisting with animal care, answering phone calls, checking applications, and working with interested individuals through the application, screening, and adoption process. Must be very personable, happy, energetic and knowledgeable about dogs, cats and supplies needed for their proper care. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, and animal and customer service experience. Other duties include training and supervision of adults with developmental disabilities. Position is full-time.

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

We are seeking an individual to assist in production of consistently high quality specialty foods including chocolate products as well as sauces, spreads, and baked good items. You would provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities and must be able to work independently. A High School diploma or equivalent with experience in food production is preferred. You must have or obtain a sanitation certificate within 6 months of hire and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. You must have a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

FARMYARD STAFF

We are seeking an individual to assist in the operation and maintenance of a clean, organized animal exhibition and amusement area. Assist with safe and efficient ride operation of available attractions (Train, Carousel, Tractor Ride, Bounce House) and provide training and supervision of adults with developmental disabilities. Provide hands on experience with both animal care and public interaction desirable, but not required. Individual must have ability to perform tasks independently. Full time flexible hours are available seven days a week. You must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

SERVER

We are seeking a part time server for the Country Inn which is a full service restaurant. We are open for breakfast, lunch, Friday and Saturday banquets. Part time hours are flexible.

 RESIDENTIAL:

DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON

We are seeking a caring individual to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.   One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available (classes held Monday-Friday during normal business hours).  You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire.  You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening.  Part time and full time 2nd and 3rd shift positions that include working weekends available.  Starting pay is $11/hour.  Salary is higher with experience and DSP Certification.

DIRECT SUPPORT PERSONS – AM FLOATER SUPPORT

We are seeking caring individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, flexible and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. This person will support the other DSP staff in various residential areas as needed. In cases of emergency, this person will drive or accompany a Participant to an Acute Care Center or ER. While there, they will be responsible for advocating for the Participant and assisting both the Participant and the medical provider in those situations. Afterwards, they will be responsible for relaying all medical information back to all concerned Lambs Farm staff. A high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 2 years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Starting rate is $11.00 per hour, full time.

CASE MANAGER

The person selected for this position is responsible for the behavior and residential programming for a select caseload of Participants. Duties include behavior plan creation and monitoring, Individual Service Plan creation and monitoring, Participant assessment, coordination of both necessary and preferred activities for the individuals on the caseload, and direct care as needed. Minimum requirements for the position include one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities, a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and a good driving record. The person selected must be QIDP approved or become approved within six months of hire. Training as needed will be provided by Lambs Farm.

VOCATIONAL:

ACTIVITY ASSISTANT

We are seeking an individual to provide senior/retirement services. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. One year related working experience required and DSP certification is a plus. Experience with ADL’s is desirable. You must be physically able to train persons on job tasks, have effective verbal, written and computer skills plus a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record.

VOCATIONAL MANAGER

The Vocational Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of individual programs for persons with Developmental Disabilities, in employment settings.  A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services is required.  One year of experience working with the Developmentally Disabled population is required.  Working knowledge or Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary.  The individual hired for this position must be QIDP approved or able to complete the required training, within 6 months of hire date.  You must have a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. 

JOB COACH

The Job Coach provides supported employment training for persons working in the community and on grounds. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You must possess skills to work independently with outside vendors. A High School diploma is required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree and one-year experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening. You must be physically able to train persons on job tasks. Basic computer skills preferred. Salary starts at $10.33 per hour.

RECREATION SPECIALIST – WEEKEND PART TIME

We are seeking a caring individual to both supervise and ensure the safety of the Participants who utilize the Weekend Recreation programs. The individual will also be responsible for encouraging and empowering the Participants to achieve their recreational interests. High school diploma required.  Experience in the field of developmental disabilities desired.  Must be able to physically assist the Participants in all activities. You must be 18 and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal back ground check and a drug screening. Paid DSP certification training program is available but you must be flexible with DSP classes for the first 120 days or employment (classes are held Monday-Friday during normal business hours).

Hours: Fridays- 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Saturdays- 9am to 5pm, Sundays- 1pm to 5pm ​
