We are seeking a detailed oriented individual as our Payroll Administrator. This person must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization are required. Knowledge of excel is necessary. Previous payroll experience with Insperity/Timestar and ABRA are preferred. This is a full-time salaried position. Key responsibilities are:
- Manages the payroll programs/processes, including the integration of time from the Insperity time system. This includes reconciling and balancing all payroll data prior to transmission to the bank
- Verify and submit bi-weekly, quarterly, and year end taxes
- Close out payroll for the year-end process and verify all information is up-to-date.
- Provide assistance to supervisors and employees with questions or concerns.
- Works with the Manager of Human Resources with all files, employee records, and other administrative functions with individual agencies as required.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RECEIVABLES ASSOCIATE
We are seeking a hard working individual who has experience in Accounts Payable/Receivables. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, invoices and check requests, computer invoice entry, disbursements and reviewing documents for approval, This position is also responsible for generating monthly closing reports, computer logs and other computer reports as necessary, verifying business receipts, preparing deposits, and posting payments to individual accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or equivalent plus at least two years of related experience and knowledge of accounting fundamentals. Must be detail-oriented and good with numbers. Knowledge of Great Plains software is desired. This is a full time position.

TRAINING AND ADMINISTRATION SPECIALIST
We are seeking a full time Training and Administration Specialist to join the Education and Training Department.
Overview of duties: Contribute to the teaching of Agency Employees and provide administrative support to the Education and Training department.
This position requires: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field and the candidate must already be QIDP approved and trained in the state of Illinois. Proficient in using Google Apps, Microsoft suite, Internet browsers and search applications. Attention to detail and data entry at a minimum of 50 WPM. The most successful Candidate will have a combination of work experience, training and interpersonal skills. Public speaking skills are essential as well as the ability to communicate information clearly. Must become a certified Instructor for crisis intervention. Clerical duties vary and include: maintaining Microsoft Access database through registration activities, Employee record keeping/archiving, supporting Agency Instructors through material copying and processing, providing certificates for training courses as well as providing administrative support to the Manager of Education and Training for department initiatives, duties and projects.
We are seeking an individual to assist in the operation and maintenance of a clean, organized animal exhibition and amusement area. Assist with safe and efficient ride operation of available attractions (Train, Carousel, Tractor Ride, Bounce House) and provide training and supervision of adults with developmental disabilities. Provide hands on experience with both animal care and public interaction desirable, but not required. Individual must have ability to perform tasks independently. Full time flexible hours are available seven days a week. You must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
BAKERY & COUNTRY STORE PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE
We are seeking an individual to assist in production of consistently high quality specialty foods including chocolate products as well as sauces, spreads, and baked good items. You would provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities and must be able to work independently. A High School diploma or equivalent with experience in food production is required. You must have or obtain a sanitation certificate within 6 months of hire and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record for the previous 12 months.
ASSISTANT MANAGER, THRIFT SHOP
The Assistant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of Lambs Farm’s Thrift Shop. Duties include sorting of donations, pricing, merchandising, customer service, and supervision of participants and volunteers. Assist Manager with budgeting process and monthly financial performance review. High School diploma or equivalent with at least two years of retail sales experience. We are seeking an individual that is experienced and has knowledge in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning tasks. You must be a self-starter with ability to follow directions. In addition, must be able to verbally communicate to and direct the activities of adults with developmental disabilities. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Full time hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON
We are seeking a caring individual to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available (classes held Monday-Friday during normal business hours). You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening. Part time and full time 2nd and 3rd shift positions that include working weekends available. Starting pay is $11/hour. Salary is higher with experience and DSP Certification.
The Vocational Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of individual programs for persons with Developmental Disabilities, in employment settings. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services is required. One year of experience working with the Developmentally Disabled population is required. Working knowledge or Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary. The individual hired for this position must be QIDP approved or able to complete the required training, within 6 months of hire date. You must have a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
PROGRAMS ASSISTANT – PART TIME
We are seeking a clerical assistant with at least 2 years of office experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Access. Excellent oral and written communication skills needed. Able to work independently and handle multiple projects. This position includes transporting and accompanying Participants to the DMV or other offices to update their ID/RTA cards and other documents. Must be able to speak, read and write English. Valid driver’s license with good driving record required. Position is up to 29 hours per week; work hours between 8 am and 5 pm (days and hours negotiable).
We are seeking an individual to provide senior/retirement services. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. One year related working experience required and DSP certification is a plus. Experience with ADL’s is desirable. You must have effective verbal, written and computer skills plus a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record.
The Job Coach provides supported employment training for persons working in the community and on grounds. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You must possess skills to work independently with outside vendors. A High School diploma is required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree and one-year experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening. You must be physically able to train persons on job tasks. Basic computer skills preferred.
