ADMINISTRATIVE:

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking a detailed oriented individual as our Payroll Administrator.  This person must be self-motivated and able to work independently.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization are required.  Knowledge of excel is necessary.  Previous payroll experience with Insperity/Timestar and ABRA are preferred. This is a full-time salaried position. Key responsibilities are:

  • Manages the payroll programs/processes, including the integration of time from the Insperity time system. This includes reconciling and balancing all payroll data prior to transmission to the bank
  • Verify and submit bi-weekly, quarterly, and year end taxes
  • Close out payroll for the year-end process and verify all information is up-to-date.
  • Provide assistance to supervisors and employees with questions or concerns.
  • Works with the Manager of Human Resources with all files, employee records, and other administrative functions with individual agencies as required.

OPERATIONS:

BAKERY/SUGAR MAPLE COUNTRY STORE BAKER

We are seeking a professional individual in a high volume production bakery to consistently produce high quality baked goods. Position requires the ability to work independently and provide supervision to adults with developmental disabilities. A High School diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of food production and bakery experience is required. You must have or obtain a sanitation certificate and be able to lift at least 25 lbs.

BAKERY & COUNTRY STORE PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

We are seeking an individual to assist in production of consistently high quality specialty foods including chocolate products as well as sauces, spreads, and baked good items. You would provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities and must be able to work independently. A High School diploma or equivalent with experience in food production is required. You must have or obtain a sanitation certificate within 6 months of hire and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record for the previous 12 months.

FACILITY MANAGEMENT:

CUSTODIAL-JANITORIAL

We are seeking an individual that is experienced and has knowledge in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning tasks. You must be a self-starter with ability to follow directions. In addition, must be able to verbally communicate to and direct the activities of adults with developmental disabilities. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Full time hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.

CUSTODIAL-JANITORIAL LEAD

We are seeking an individual that has experience and knowledge in housekeeping/ janitorial cleaning tasks to be in a Lead position. You must be a self-starter with ability to follow directions. In addition, must be able to verbally communicate to and direct the activities of adults with developmental disabilities.You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. This is a full-time position, 8-5.

 RESIDENTIAL:

LIVE-IN APARTMENT DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON

Rent apartment located in an on-grounds residential home, rent is $200 monthly. Applicant must be in the apartment from 10pm to 7am to facilitate any emergency situations and work from 7am to 9am as a Direct Support Person – starting pay is at $11.00 for DSP. In addition to these 10 hours per week this person must work  between 20-30 hours in Residential or for another department. DSP Certification will be provided by Lambs Farm. Must have valid drivers license with a good driving record.  Must be employed with Lambs Farm for a minimum of 120 days.

HEALTH SERVICES ASSISTANT – PART-TIME

Assist with miscellaneous clerical duties of a medical office. This position will include transporting and accompanying participants to their medical, dental, and ancillary appointments or procedures. Must be able to communicate to health practitioners the needs of the participants and report health appointment outcomes in detail. Ideal candidate must be able to physically assist participants when required, have initiative, have excellent attendance, be detail oriented and able to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and email, and Excel and/or Access a definite plus. Must be able to speak, read and write English. Satisfactory completion of paid DSP training within 120 days of employment required. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Guaranteed 29 hours per week, daytime hours are between 9 and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (days and hours negotiable).

DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON

We are seeking a caring individual to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and daily living skills. The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.   One to two years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP certification training program is available (classes held Monday-Friday during normal business hours).  You must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent upon hire.  You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening.  Part time and full time 2nd and 3rd shift positions that include working weekends available.  Starting pay is $11/hour.  Salary is higher with experience and DSP Certification.

CO-MANAGER/CASE MANAGER

Lambs Farm is seeking an experienced individual to oversee its CILA program for people with developmental disabilities. Lambs Farm offers 2 to 5 person CILA homes in the surrounding communities. The Position responsibilities include supervision of direct support staff, knowledge of physical plant maintenance, staffing coverage, program development and planning, compliance with state, federal, local and agency standards and procedures. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in related human service field with 1-2 years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities. You must have a QIDP certification or be able to obtain within a year, DSP certification, 5 years of supervisory experience is preferred, strong interpersonal and organizational skills plus verbal written and computer skills. You must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

RECREATION:

RECREATION AND LEISURE SERVICES SPECIALIST

Responsibilities include preparing and teaching classes, leading recreational activities, monitoring Participants and managing assigned tasks. Must be able to drive 15 passenger van to and from program activities. Must have the ability to physically train and assist persons in sports and fitness activities. Bachelor’s Degree in recreation, physical education, leisure services, therapeutic recreation, exercise science or experience in the field of developmental disabilities required. Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license and be violation free for at least one year.

VOCATIONAL:

VOCATIONAL MANAGER/HBS FACILITATOR

The Vocational Manager/HBS Facilitator is responsible to design and implement individual programs for persons with developmental disabilities in community employment settings and to assist individuals and families in utilizing Home Based Services funding. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services field plus one year experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities is required. Case Management experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. The person selected must be QIDP approved or able to complete the QIDP training within 6 months of employment. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

VOCATIONAL MANAGER

The Vocational Manager is the key person responsible for the design and implementation of employment and day programs for persons with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Duties include assessment of skills, coordination of both necessary and preferred activities for individuals, and providing training to individuals on the caseload.  A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services is required along with at least one year of experience with the Developmentally Disabled population.  Working knowledge or Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary.  The individual hired for this position must be QIDP approved or able to complete the required training within 6 months of hire date. All needed training is provided by Lambs Farm. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and pass a criminal background check and drug screening. 

ACTIVITY ASSISTANT

Are you someone who is creative, energetic and a self-starter?  If so, Lambs Farm needs people to provide services to seniors and retirees with Intellectual Disabilities. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. One year related working experience is required and DSP certification is a plus.  You should have effective verbal, written and computer skills plus a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. This is a full time position.

JOB COACH

The Job Coach provides supported employment training for persons working in the community and on grounds. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You must possess skills to work independently with outside vendors. A High School diploma is required. One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screening. You must be physically able to train persons on job tasks. Basic computer skills preferred.

JOB COACH-LAMBS INDUSTRIES

The Job Coach provides on the job training and contract production services to meet individual needs of persons working at Lambs Industries. The ideal candidate is energetic, a self-starter and physically able to train persons on job tasks. High School diploma or equivalent required. One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
