to tailor your group's experience! And, we are conveniently
located just 35 miles north of Chicago off I-94 on Route
176 in Libertyville, Illinois.

touch 'n' feel table, learning videos and more

Animals & Attractions
- Animals on display include sheep,
goats, horses, ponies, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, rabbits,
pigs, cows, and an amazing variety of birds
- Newborns, including sheep, goats,
chicks, pigs, are often on display when our animal
friends give birth
- The Small Animal Display offers
up-close encounters with a variety of animals including
rabbits, chickens and newborns with an experienced
staff member on hand to share interesting facts and
answer questions
- Play our farm-themed Miniature Golf
course with 18 newly renovated holes
- Take little ones to the Old World Carousel
ride for a spin
- Ride the Miniature Train along
our 15-acre lake and learn interesting animal facts
along the way
What’s for Lunch?
- With a Picnic permit, your group
can enjoy lunch outdoors under our covered pavilions.
And, we offer locked storage containers for your lunches
- Our Snack Shop offers a variety
of lunch selections such as hamburgers, hot dogs,
fries and soft drinks
- Fresh Box Lunches from our restaurant
are a great alternative that come complete with sandwich,
drink, chips and dessert
- For a more leisurely lunch, try dining inside the
Country Inn Restaurant and choose
from a menu full of country-style selections with
a special menu just for kids
How to Schedule Your Group
We ask that all groups make reservations two weeks in
advance to visit the Farmyard and Attractions area.
Simply, fill out the Field
Trip Registration Form, attach the non-refundable
deposit, and mail both to us to schedule your visit.
You may reserve your group online or fax us your form
if you choose to use a credit card for the non-refundable
deposit. Phone reservations are also accepted with credit
card deposit. Confirmation of your trip will be returned
by U.S. Mail or by fax. For more information or for

What To Do Upon Arrival
Buses should park at the far west side of the parking
lot. The group leader should check in at the Farmyard
Entrance, located near the southwest corner of the parking
lot. Your group will receive any tickets and instructions
for your visit to the Farmyard. The balance due has
to be made in one payment at this time. To facilitate
your check-in process, please know the total number
of people (adults and children) in your group.
Additional Information
Field Trip rates are available Monday through Friday
only. The Farmyard is open 10am to 5pm April through
October. Regular admission fees apply to any group that
arrives at Lambs Farm without a confirmation for their
trip. Regular admission fees apply to individuals arriving
after the group has checked in and paid for their trip.
