There are many places that host picnics, however, none
that can compare to a day at Lambs Farm. Lambs Farm
is centrally located in Lake County just 35 miles north
of Chicago on I-94 and available with full-service catering
for all of your event needs. Whether your group is small
or as large as 3,000 guests, Lambs Farm is the perfect
place for your corporate event, picnic, family reunion,
organization outing, wedding reception, or other special
event. We have spacious tree-shaded lawns, a stage and
two covered pavilions available for your use. And, with
our attentive staff and intimate country atmosphere,
your group will feel like they have the place to themselves!
Guests will find enjoyable pastimes to engage in while
waiting for a delicious picnic spread to be served.
The shops of Lambs Farm have many wonders to explore.
The Lambs Farm Pet Shop, housed in our turn-of-the-century
barn, displays puppies, kittens and other pets as well
as pet supplies, plush animals and gift items. Browse
through our Thrift Shop….you never know what treasure
is waiting for you at a bargain price! Satisfy your
sweet tooth at Aunt Mary's Country Store and Bakery
where our homemade fudge and chocolate will put a smile
on your lips. Treat everyone to fresh squeezed lemonade,
a bag of popcorn or a hand-dipped ice cream cone. Aunt
Mary's also features goodies - delicious cookies, breads
and more - baked right on the Farm.
Inside the Farmyard, follow paved walkways to view the
domestic farm animals. Stop at the Small Animal Display
for an up-close look at a variety of animals such as
rabbits and chickens. Learn fun facts about farm life
inside the Discovery Center. Step into the Petting Area
and mingle with sheep, lambs, goats and kids. Tee off
on the 18-hole Miniature Golf course or enjoy our Cow
Bounce House and Old World Carousel. Adults and children
alike will enjoy our Miniature Train ride along Lambs
Lake.
We can also plan other activities to enhance your event.
Such exciting additions as volleyball, face painting,
sand art, inflatables, water wars, clowns, carnival
games and more will make your event one to remember.
